We offer individual attention through our Peer Tutoring service. Whether students need help reviewing class notes and textbook materials, or preparing for tests, our tutors can help. The majority of our tutors have already received an A in the courses that they tutor and have been recommended by the professor. In addition, they receive orientation and training in ways to help students (tutees) improve. They won't do a student's homework, but they will show the student how to be their own best resource. Additionally, peer tutors earn extra money while they improve their own communication skills and build their resumes.
Few things are as satisfying as helping another person reach their goals. Here are some comments from some of our tutors and tutees.
In addition, Confederation College also offers a Professional Tutoring service.
Tutors
"Tutoring helped me understand the material in depth."
"It was a chance to meet new people."
Tutees
"I could see the results in a few sessions."
"I learned to have faith in myself."
"It helped make the transition to college easier."
