The Business Accounting Program is structured to give you both theoretical training and practical experience in accounting systems and procedures.
If you are a "logical person", enjoy working with numbers, and are detail-oriented, accounting could be an ideal profession for you! Your ability to extract numbers and data from various resources and apply them in practical business uses will open the doors for you in the accounting profession.
You will develop skills and knowledge appropriate for an entry-level accounting position. It will prepare you to serve in a wide range of responsible positions up to and including mid-management levels in business, industry, and government. Get a start on your career in Accounting with enrolment in this program at Confederation College!
This program is designed for students who want to develop skills and knowledge appropriate for an entry-level accountant in business, industry, or the not-for-profit sector. The program has been designed to accommodate students who want to continue their studies towards a professional accounting designation. These students may opt for one additional year in the Business Administration - Accounting Program to obtain additional credits towards a Certified General Accountant's designation.
