Food Service Worker
The Food Service Worker Certificate program is a part-time Ministry of Training, College and Universities approved program. It is intended to enhance the skills of people currently employed or to enable those who are interested in gaining entry level positions in an institutional food preparation setting, whether it is a commercial or a long-term care facility.
This 203 Hour program is comprised of six courses with one course having a hands-on lab component. The lab component takes place under a supervised model. Upon successful completion of this program, the graduate will receive a Confederation College Board of Governors FOOD SERVICE WORKER Certificate.
The tuition fees listed below are based upon the 2008 tuition rate and are subject to tuition changes, transfer credits, Prior Learning Assessment (PLA), Mature Student Testing (MST), travel, uniform, textbook, material fee costs and student fees. An overview of the program delivery is included in the package below. Prerequisites will apply to certain courses.
