ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Post Secondary Program:
- Ontario Secondary School Diploma or
- Successful completion of Mature Student Test or
- Appropriate credits from Academic and Career Entrance
Non-Post Secondary Programs:
- Ontario Secondary School Diploma or
- Nineteen (19) years of age or older.
OFFICE HOURS
The Centre for Continuing Education is open Monday through Thursday 8:30 am to 7:30 pm and Friday 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.
COURSE FEES
Total fees (including material fees, if applicable) are required at time of registration. Your registration receipt should be taken to your first class.
The 60 Advantage: Reduced tuition fees apply to individuals who are 60 years of age or older. Course tuition fees marked with a * in the Key and the Regional Calendar are eligible. (i.e. $177.00*) For more information call 475-6550.
PREREQUISITES AND RECOMMENDED ENTRY LEVEL (REL)
Some courses require prerequisites to be completed before registering. Please make sure that you have successfully completed the applicable prerequisite courses to avoid problems with the course material and/or with your transcript. Some courses have Recommended Entry Levels (REL) listed in the course description.
PARKING
Parking permits are required weekdays from 8 am - 5 pm. Part-time students taking day courses may obtain a parking permit from the Centre for Continuing Education by presenting a Schedule of Registration.
CANCELLED COURSES AND REFUND POLICY
You will be notified by phone if your course is cancelled. Full course fees will be refunded if courses are cancelled by Confederation College.
WITHDRAWAL AND REFUND POLICY
A $15.00 administrative fee will be charged on all withdrawals.

HOLIDAYS
The College will be closed: February 16th - Family Day; April 10th - Good Friday; May 18th, July 1st, August 3, September 7th, October 12th and December 24 (noon) until January 4th (Christmas Holidays).
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQ's)
1. Do I need a parking permit?You only need a permit if you are attending classes between 8 am and 5 pm on weekdays. If you are a part-time day student, a pass is available from the Centre for Continuing Education A122 Shuniah Building.
2. How do I find out my username and password to log in to the College system?
Each student is given a unique College network/computer logon account with a corresponding email address. This account is used to allow students access to computer lab workstations, college email, print balance, Blackboard, the student Banner system, and other network resources. Your username will be up to 8 characters long and made up of the first letter of your first name followed by up to the first 7 characters in your last name. With some common last names, your username could have a number as the last digit in your username. Example: David Smith could have any of the following usernames: dsmith, dsmith1, dsmith 2, dsmith3, etc. A student's password will be 6 digits and will consist of numbers from their birth date in 'ddmmyy' format. Examples: a student born on July 1, 1980 will have a password of: 010780
3. How do I find out what my email address is?
Your email address is your username plus @confederati onc.on.ca (Example: dsmith@confederationc.on.ca)
4. How do I check my College email?
You can access your College email account from anywhere in the world using a computer, an internet connection and a web browser program. To access your College email:
a. Go to http://webmail.confederationc.on.ca
b. when prompted with a logon window, enter your regular College network account username and password.
c. Click the 'OK' button to login.
5. How to I access my transcript?
Visit our CE Student Portal and follow the Grades & Transcripts link. There, you will be able to access the Banner login, where you can login in and view your transcript.
6. How to I access my T2202A tax certificate?
Same process as #5, under 'Student Resources/ References', select 'Banner Self-Serve Application (SSB)', select 'OK' in the Secure Connection Dialogue box, select 'Enter Secure Area', enter your username and password, click 'student registration', 'Canadian Tax Forms', 'T2202A Tax Credit Form', select the appropriate year.
7. What do I do if my student account does not work?
