Welcome to Convocation 2013 and Congratulations.
THUNDER BAY STUDENTS
Gown and Hood order is now closed.
Gowns & hoods will be available the day of Convocation for a $10.00 charge.
Check out the Convocation FAQ's
A Guide to Graduating Respectfully.
Grad is your day and our goal is to make it perfect for you. We need your help to do this.
Below is a list of expectations around the Convocation ceremony:
Respect your fellow Graduates.
Convocation is a time for everyone to celebrate and spend time with fellow classmates. You will be onstage and seated for the duration of the ceremony. Please do not leave the stage until the ceremony is completed.
Cooperate with the Convocation Team.
Convocation is an extremely complex event which is only possible if everyone cooperates. Each area, from gown pick up, grad line up, conferring of diplomas, exiting the stage, and returning of gowns depends on everyone’s cooperation in order to be successful. Please act professionally and respectfully towards all Convocation personnel.
Arrive on time.
Thunder Bay graduates should be at the Thunder Bay Community Auditorium 1 1/2 hours prior to your ceremony. Go directly to the tent to pick up your gown and hood and then proceed into the Auditorium.
Get unplugged.
The Convocation ceremony is a personal technology and belonging “free” space. Please leave cell phones, cameras, purses etc with family or friends or choose not to bring them to the ceremony.
Key Performance Indicator (KPI) Graduate Satisfaction Survey
As a Confederation College graduate, your opinion is important to us. You will be contacted a few months after graduation regarding your participation in the Key Performance Indicator (KPI) Graduate Satisfaction Survey. Please take the time to participate.
