The Office of Applied Research works with educational institutions, government, industry, entrepreneurs, and communities on practical applied research relevant to the region.  Applied R&D will be supported by our system of collecting, and reporting information and knowledge.

The Counselling Department offers the following types of service: Career Exploration, Academic Advisement & Academic Dispute Resolution, Personal Counselling, E-Counselling & Mental Health Screenings.
This area is intended for staff and administrative use. It houses all the "Critical Documents and Requirements Needed Before The First Day-of-Class.  The "Master Information" housed and maintained in this area will then be used to feed the standardized information back out to the appropriate program websites, in a manner somewhat similar to how "Admissions Requirements" is controlled and maintained by the Admissions department, but then feeds out to the appropriate "Program Info" pages in Program Websites.
The Dental Clinic provides dental hygiene services to students of Confederation College and the community of Thunder Bay.

The First Nations Natural Resources Youth Employment Program (FNNRYEP) is a 2-year pan-Boreal program (offered by the Confederation College Natural Resouces Centre) with the affirmed goal to create awareness, generate interest and provide the pathway for First Nations youth between the ages of 16 to 18 to pursue education, training and employment in natural resource science based sectors such as forestry and mining.
