Anne Renaud, Director

B.A.Sc, Mechanical Engineering, University of Waterloo; MBA, Wilfred Laurier University. Campus Director since 2002, Anne has owned her own management consulting business and has delivered training across Canada and the US. Her background in adult training and management consulting is a great asset to her position as campus director.

Kathy Egan, Support Services Officer

A graduate of the Business Diploma program at Confederation College, Kathy has been with the college since 2000. Kathy oversees all of our part-time and full time programs.

Evelyn Sletmoen, Administrative Assistant

Evelyn brings many years of administrative and bookkeeping skills to the college, having spent over five years with NCDS Career Works in Fort Frances. Evelyn has been with the college since 2003.

Joyce brings valuable clerical experience to the college, having worked at RRFDC in Fort Frances, as well as various other positions in the community. Joyce has been with the college since 2005.

Dede McCool, Classroom Assistant

A graduate of the DSW program at Confederation College, this is Dede's first year at the campus. Dede oversees the reception area during the evening hours when she is not assisting in the classroom.

Theresa Johnston, Full Time Applied Arts Faculty

BA (Psychology), BEd, MEd. Theresa has been teaching for the college since 1988 in the field of education and psychology, and has her Masters Degree in Education from Lakehead University. Theresa is the coordinator for the Educational Assistant Program.

Tom Dawyduk, Full Time Applied Arts Faculty

BSW University of Manitoba, M.A.(S.W.P.) McMaster University.  Tom has been teaching for Confederation College since 1989 in the Social Services and Human Resources field.

Cathy Tysz, Systems Administrator/ Instructor

A graduate of the Computer Applications Support Specialist program at Confederation College, Cathy has been with the college since 1999. She is also Microsoft Office Specialist Certified. Cathy is our Systems Administrator and an instructor in Academic Computing.

Wendy Derendorf, Instructor

A graduate of the first RN program at Confederation College in 1975.  Wendy has been teaching at the college since 2005. She spent many years at the Riverside Health Care Facility in the Continuing Care Unit in Fort Frances and is presently employed at Community Care Access Center. Wendy has been an instructor in the EA program, PSW, and Pre Health.

B.A (English), St. Mary's University, Halifax. B.Ed. University of Maine.
Alana teaches English and Communications in the Educational Assistant and
Pre Health programs. Alana has been an instructor at the college since 2006.

Jane Trivers, Instructor

B.A. (English / Psychology), Lakehead University, Thunder Bay; Teachers Certificate (primary specialist focused), University of Toronto; Diploma in Theology, University of the South-Virginia. Jane has taught many courses for the college since 1998 in various programs including ECE, PN, DSW, PSW, and College Access.
