Congratulations to Lee Chambers, professor in the Film Production Program, who recently won the 2010 Thunder Bay Arts & Heritage Award for Performing & Media Art! The 2010 Awards program was held on Tuesday, June 15 at Magnus Theatre, to recognize groups and individuals in the city.

Film Production - Film Night

This is the 40th Anniversary of the Film Production Program and for the 40th time, we will be hosting Film Night. This year, it is at the Community Auditorium on Saturday, April 17, 2010 starting at 7PM. We have been fund raising all year and we will present the films of our Second Year students free to the public and our friends.

'District 9', a Peter Jackson (Lord of the Rings) /Tri Star movie will open internationally Friday (August 14) with a Thunder Bay and Confederation College connection. 

Trent Opaloch, a 1996 graduate of the Film Production Program, was the Director of Photography for the film that was primarily shot in South Africa.
