Float Training

Float Training

During this phase of your training you will spend a few weeks at our floatplane base, earning the hours required for your float endorsement

Our seaplane base is remote enough to provide countless training opportunities at various lakes, yet still close to civilization. You will soon learn the pilot decision making skills that are fundamental to safe seaplane operations.

Basic training is completed on our 210 HP fuel-injected, constant speed, Cessna  Hawk XP. Upon successful completion of the basic training, you will advance to the 270 HP constant-speed, Cessna 180 for advanced seaplane operations.

Your experience at our float base will also include dock hand training, aircraft servicing, boat operation etc. Come swat a few mosquitoes and experience float flying in a fun and friendly atmosphere.
