Business Fundamentals

1-year, Ontario College Certificate Program

Why Study Business Fundamentals?

  1. Flexible Delivery Options: The Business Fundamentals Program has been designed to be taken on a full-time or part-time basis and is available through our Thunder Bay and Regional campuses. Some campuses, including Thunder Bay may offer face-to face classrooms as well as online delivery. Students can choose a combination of these options as well to suit their individual learning preferences. Many of the online course options have multiple start dates throughout the semester allowing students to start the program at various times.
  2. Pathway to Business Diploma Programs: Students completing the Business Fundamentals Program will acquire a one-year Ontario College Certificate. Students can choose to continue their education to acquire a 2-year Ontario College Business Diploma in Human Resources, Marketing or Accounting. The curriculum for the Business Fundamentals Program will provide students with advanced standing toward their 2 yr. Business Programs.
  3. Business Education: Students will acquire a diverse education in the fundamental areas of business and acquire the skills needed to be competent in a business environment.
