Choice and Convenience:  Enroll at a time and for a duration that is convenient for you.  The program offers both a 1-year or 2-year option, starting in either September or January.  As well, choose curriculum that best fits your interests!  Many of the courses are selected by you.  Take courses in areas including Psychology, Sociology, Humanities, Indigenous Studies, Communications, Career Development and many more.
2. Transferability:  Courses delivered in General Arts and Science are transferable to other Confederation College programs.  As well, specific courses are transferable to other colleges and universities.  Many students begin their educational path in General Arts and Science, enhance their academic skills and then move into other post-secondary programs.
3. Employability:  Courses in communications, basic math and workplace strategies ensure you possess the essential skills employers require.  Obtaining a post-secondary Diploma or Certificate will give you an advantage when seeking employment in an ever increasingly competitive job market.
