This is the graduating class of the 2011 Hospitality Management Program, here at Confederation College. We the students, with the help of our Chef Professor have put together this cook book as a fundraiser. We have students taking part in this program from all over Ontario as well as an International student from Taiwan. We hope to share with you some of our fondest memories in these recipes that we grew up with. We have enjoyed these recipes throughout the years and we are hoping to share them with you now, so you can enjoy them as much as we do. Hopefully these recipes will become family favourites of yours as much as they are for us.
We are fundraising for a class trip to China for our International placement. We will be spending two weeks in China taking part in their Hospitality Program with our sister college there. We will be working in local hotels, learning their culture, their working habits and their traditions. We will have time to visit with other students and to take tours, to enjoy local cuisine and to attend social events.
We eagerly anticipate the opportunity to share in another country’s culture and traditions as we hope you are in sharing these recipes; these recipes come from the heart. Proceeds of this fundraiser will go towards helping each student raise enough money to be able to go to China. Thank you for your kind donations and we hope that you enjoy this cook book.
The cookbooks are $20.00 and they are available by emailing either Bill.Gregorash@confederationc.on.ca or jstrizic@confederationc.on.ca.
