Confederation College has a long history working with partners abroad. The number of articulation agreements between Confederation College and its international partners continues to grow. Our students can also take advantage of these partnerships to study abroad or participate in short-term international programs.
Study Abroad
Students of Confederation College can take advantage of one of our many partnerships to study abroad for one semester, without an additional increase in tuition fees. Students can select from a range of locations and schools, and can also apply for a scholarship to cover some of their travel and accommodation costs.

Chile and Brazil 2012 Summer Studies Programs
Would you like to experience the rich culture of Chile? Want to see Brazil? Gain a GE credit like no other. The International Education Centre (IEC) is excited to offer students an opportunity to study in Latin America this May and June.
Through a partnership with INACAP University in Santiago, Chile, students will be immersed in a four-week curriculum focusing on Chilean culture, food, and the Spanish language. Tuition is free, however students are required to cover all travel, accommodation and living expenses, estimated at $3,000+. Flights and accommodations are coordinated by the IEC.
The IEC is also working with another partner in Brazil to provide a similar program in June. Interested students could have the possibility to extend their stay and complete an additional four-week study program in Brazil, immersing themselves in two of the fastest growing, and most significant countries in Latin America. (It is not necessary to participate in the Brazilian program, if students are just interested in Chile).
Students must be enrolled in a full-time, post secondary program to participate in this program; they must have completed at least one year of studies prior to departure and must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Consult the application package for more details.
Some scholarships are available to Canadian students to help defray costs (scholarships are not automatically available, and will be awarded through a competitive process). A separate application is required to apply for these scholarships.
The deadline to apply has now closed. Information for next summer will be posted January 2013.
Teach in China
Confederation College has partnerships with several colleges and universities in China, which deliver joint-diploma programs and follow Confederation's curriculum. Graduating students receive a credential from both Confederation College and their home college or university. A number of these partner schools are looking for instructors to teach in these programs
