The International Education Centre facilitates our student exchange program. Confederation College students have the opportunity to leave Canada and study abroad at one of our partner colleges or universities, and international students have the opportunity to come to Canada and attend courses at Confederation College for one semester.
Pre-approved courses studied abroad can count as credits and will transfer back to your Confederation College program.
Exchange students are responsible for their own overseas airfare, accommodations and living expenses (some scholarships may be available).
To qualify, students must:
- Successfully complete one full year of their academic program
- Have a minimum of 60% average
- Program Coordinator approval
Applications for Confederation College students to go abroad can be found on the partner website. To study at Confederation College, see below.
All applications must be processed through the International Education Centre. For winter semester exchanges, applications are due by October 30th. For fall semester exchanges, applications are due by March 31st.
