Learn conversational Mandarin while completing the program.
Students in the International Business and Trade Program take two courses in conversational Mandarin. As more and more Canadian companies enter the Chinese market, the demand for staff with an understanding of Chinese culture and language increases. Our graduates will have the capability to have a basic conversation with potential customers, clients and partners in China.
Bombardier hires graduates from the International Business Program!
The local Bombardier plant has hired several International Business graduates. 'Graduates of the International Business Programs are particularly well suited to working in logistics and supply chain management. They are well trained, understand the business, handle stress well and can multi-task' says Kris Kardal, Manager of Logistics at Bombardier in Thunder Bay.
Proud to report:
Our International Business Program received the highest rating from students.
100% satisfaction is reported for the quality of the learning experience and for the calibre of teachers and courses.
These ratings are higher than the average rating for all other Confederation College programs, higher than the Provincial average college score and higher than the average rating for all other international business programs offered in colleges across Ontario.
Work Placement now offered!
Put your training to work, either locally or internationally! An eight-week work placement is now included in the academic year. This will result in a one-month extension to the second semester.
Past experience shows that several of our students receive employment offers on the conclusion of their work placement - be one of them!
