The Library produces two newsletters:
Faculty Focus
Faculty Focus, published each spring and fall, is developed for faculty. It informs instructors of new services, programs, and resources in print, AV or digital formats. New databases are introduced to faculty to assist their students’ research. Any changes affecting services to faculty are highlighted.
What's New
What's New, published each fall, is developed for students. It provides updates on new search strategies or databases for their research, and highlights recent additions to the Library's collections. Students will find information on Library hours, fees, ID cards, and revisions to the Library's website.
If you are having trouble viewing the newsletters, you may need to install the latest version of Adobe Reader. Click the link below to start the download.
Additional Documents:
The Library recognizes and celebrates special library events throughout the year, such as Canadian Library Month and Freedom to Read Week,. Staff also contribute articles to the College student newspaper and external library publications.
The Library, in conjunction with the Learning Centre, offers the Start Smart program during the week prior to the start of the fall semester. This program provides new students with the opportunity to learn library and study skills before school starts!
The Library offers Food For Fines every December. This provides an opportunity for all patrons to reduce their Library fines with non-perishable donations to the College Student Food Bank.
