The Library reviews new products and services regularly. Please try the new database offerings listed below. The products are accessible via the College's network only on campus in Thunder Bay, Kenora, Dryden, Fort Frances and the main office in Sioux Lookout. We welcome your comments on how they would enhance learning in your program area!

Britannica Image Quest Online - This has been very well received by the schools and libraries because of the breadth of coverage they offer…..2,000,000+ Images from major image supply warehouses worldwide. This allows your students to pull current and safe images for their projects and assignments…..in any subject area……..Without…..going against copyright issues and pulling from random Google sites……when students do searches on Google sites to pull images, often they are accessing inappropriate websites, it can be very time consuming and some images won’t download and can be of poor quality.  Britannica’s NEW Image Quest – 2,000,000+ images from major image supply warehouses, Museums, DK images, Getty Images, National Geographic, Nativestock…and many more…..The Britannica Image Quest - is the biggest of its kind, and will support EVERY AREA of the curriculum….and we are adding the Toronto Star archival material (70,000+ photo’s) by mid-summer.
