You have always enjoyed the impact of marketing in the everyday business world. Business relies on marketing. Marketing gets results. It creates excitement, awareness and motivates people to buy. The marketing program places an emphasis on the development of your critical skills in communication, decision making with limited information, your ability to work as a member of a team, to develop your research skills, and to develop your creative problem solving skills. The knowledge you gain will enable you to consider a career with local, national or international employers. You could find yourself working in advertising and promotion, research or sales. You might even start your own successful business. Your choices are endless! Also consider our optional third year Business Administration - Marketing with a full semester of work placement! Graduates of the two-year diploma program and the three-year advanced diploma program in Business-Marketing are eligible to apply to the Canadian Institute of Marketing and obtain the designation of Registered Professional Marketer (RPM). The primary goal of the Canadian Institute of Marketing is to enhance marketing and management skills in Canada to international levels by adopting international professional standards and qualifications for practitioners, businesses, and learning institutions. It is the recognized governing and standards-setting body for professional marketers in Canada. |
