Multimedia is a fascinating and challenging career where your creative abilities, combined with your familiarity with appropriate computer software can give birth to a myriad of unique products such as compelling websites, audio/visual presentations, video, 2D & 3D animations, interactive computer graphics and Internet applications. You will be introduced to such topics as photography, design, computer programming, project management, networking, and software applications such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, FLASH, 3D Studio Max, Quark Express, Java Scripting, HTML web design and more. By third year, you will have developed your passion and expertise in one or more areas. Throughout the program, you will be building an extensive portfolio of your own work and in 5th semester, you will work in a team environment on a major, real-world, showcase project. In the last semester, you will be assisted in finding a 16-week work placement in a Multimedia firm in Canada, or even abroad.
