If your goal is to promote the health and well-being of Aboriginal families, children and youth, then the Native Child and Family Services program is the program for you.

This two year diploma blends social services practices with holistic Aboriginal approaches to helping. It   provides students with  values, knowledge and practical skills needed to meet the growing demand for front line workers in prevention, intervention and child welfare in Aboriginal and urban communities.  Two field placements and an optional CO-OP give students lots of opportunity to gain valuable work experience that will ensure that they graduate with confidence in the application of their skills and knowledge.

Graduates of this program will also develop a culturally competent personal practice model for working with at risk children and families, preparing them to work in a dynamic range of inter-cultural agencies that support Aboriginal children, youth, families and communities.
