This recently revised and updated two-year program will prepare you to work in a challenging and dynamic environment reflecting the demands and changing trends in Aboriginal communities and Nations. This program utilizes a holistic approach to learning and human service training by taking into account individual, family and community needs and current government legislation, such as the Family and Child Services Act.
As a graduate, you will take to your employment a respect for, connection with and understanding of traditions, values and beliefs of the community. You will be prepared to work in an intercultural, multilingual society where you can use your acquired knowledge, skills and experience to support families in the field of Child Welfare.
If you are interested in a human service program that promotes health and wellness and responds to the challenge of advocating for Aboriginal individuals, families and communities, we welcome to apply. Please join us!
