The Aboriginal law and advocacy program gave me opportunities to look at how the historical effects impacted Aboriginal people in Canada. The program has impacted my life in many ways. First of all it lit a passion within me that I never knew was there. It gave me the opportunity to express myself constructively and reinforced my identity as a Muchkegowuk Inuinew.
