The duties of a forest technician can be more varied than any other person working in the forest. Knowledge of the forest has to be integrated with knowledge of the legal environment, which dictates the forest management and forest harvesting process. The Forest Technician Program is designed to provide the basic learning necessary to arrange the process of work in the forest.
