Personal Support Worker (PSW) Accelerated (18 weeks)

You can now register and start your studies in the new “fast tracked” and high industry demand career of Personal Support Worker in 18 weeks delivered through Distance Education. Personal Support Workers assist persons with the tasks of daily living, such as home management, personal care, family responsibilities, social and recreational activities.

• Distance Education delivery with classes delivered live via centra or video (faculty may or may not be on site)
• Classes begin February 13 and go on to June 15 with no March Break
• Two schedules to choose from
• Students must meet eligibility requirements
• Students will also require the following before clinical placement:
  • Current First Aid/CPR Certificate Level C
  • Immunization record
  • TB Skin Test, Hp B and flu shot
  • Mask Fit testing
  • Current criminal records check

Tuition: $2,960.00*

This program provides supervised practice for over 360 hours. This includes placements in a nursing home and community agency setting.
