Welcome Communities & Partners

To our Communities and our Partners

Confederation College is deeply committed to the delivery of programs and services within the nine campuses we operate. In the northwest region, we continue to host President’s Panels each year.  Meetings like this prove invaluable as we continue to guide our program offerings to meet the new demands of the marketplace.

Beyond the exceptional education that each of our campus communities provides to our students, we continue to responsive to the needs of each community and also act as a stimulus for growth and economic impact. Our campus stretches from Kenora to the west and Wawa to the east, responding to local interests and needs and truly becoming a part of the local economy.  In fact, Confederation College represents $800 million annually in economic impact to the northwest region.

In fact, we are proud to report that of the over 30,000 distinct individuals in the area have received training and/or education from Confederation College.  This represents one in three adults who reside in our area.  Graduates estimated to be residing in the campus communities account for 56% of all certificate and diploma holders and 37% of all certificate, diploma and degree holders. Please take the time to view the regional campus pages and programs within our web site.

We are also grateful to our many Community Partners who have made significant contributions to significantly enhance learning for students at Confederation College through our College Foundation

Confederation College is an integral part of the communities in which we serve and an important social and economic driver for the northwest.  It is with the support of our community that we are able to support our students, align with our communities and generate economic prosperity.

Sincerely,

Jim Madder
President
