For hundreds of years, machines have moved humankind forward. With every technological advance, someone has to be available to build, fix and maintain them. That someone can be you!

Confederation College’s Mechanical Engineering Technician two-year program is designed to provide students with a balanced approach to mechanical engineering. The program will give you the knowledge and hands-on experience to meet the requirements of a broad range of trades including Millwright, Machinist and Steam Fitter, as well as the academic requirements of technician-level positions. Courses cover a wide and interesting variety of topics including trades science, mechanical practices, mechanical design, welding practices, power transmission, machine shop, statistics and fluid power.
