Community Services - Recreation Therapy

2-year, Ontario College Diploma Program

Diploma Options

Option 1 - Accelerated option for enter another Community Services Program

Upon receiving the Recreation Therapy diploma, students can enroll -  - in another Community Services Program for one year and receive a diploma in that discipline (CYW would take 2 years).

The other Community Services programs are Developmental Service Worker, Child and Youth Worker, and Social Service Worker.

Option 2 - Accelerated option for students coming into Recreation Therapy with a diploma/degree from another Community Services/Human Services discipline.

Students from another Community Services/Human Services program can enroll in the accelerated 2 semester stream for the Recreation Therapy Program and can complete their diploma in two semesters.
