Sibley Hall Residence

Sibley Hall is a safe, community oriented, fully staffed, co-ed residence facility with availability for 229 students in 1 of 5 room styles (rates are comparable to off-campus housing costs). When you choose to live in the Residence Community, you eliminate the hassle of utility bills, transportation costs, and open yourself to a new type of living.

Community Living

It takes a special kind of person to be successful living on campus. It takes a person who is dedicated to their academics, but wants to make the most of an immersion into campus life and the college experience.  The second key to having a successful year in Residence is BALANCE. Knowing when to study and when to socialize, when to go to bed and when to stay up, how to spend budgeted money and when to save. Finding this balance will ensure that living in Sibley Hall will compliment your year(s) at Confederation College.

The staff of Sibley Hall are committed to mentoring students who make the choice to be a part of the residence community.  Activities such as special events, sports, performances and excursion opportunities are provided to compliment the classroom time, students are encouraged to participate in as many activities as they are able to, and provide feedback on events and activities they want to see. In addition to access to academic support and tutoring programs there is regularly scheduled educational programming and information sessions on a variety of topics offered throughout the academic year to encourage students to better themselves as well as develop a social conscience.  

The staff of Sibley Hall provide a connection to all other on campus services, Counselling, Career Development Centre, The Learning Centre, The Student Union, Health Services and Food Services to name a few, we value the partnerships that exist to provide the students with support and a voice for their individual and group needs.
