The Northwestern SCWI Regional Planning Team continues to grow. In the 2011-12 school year, the Planning Team has  expanded to 28 members –4 representatives from the College – 15 representatives from Northwestern Ontario School Boards, 2 representatives from the local Ministry of Education Office, 1 representative for MTCU, 1 representatives from SCWI Provincial and the 4 directors and 1 support staff from the Regional Confederation College Campuses. 

For the 2011-12 school year, the Team has secured funding  to conduct forums, activities and dual credit projects. Every school board in the region has  direct funding to offer regional projects.

This year the Regional Planning Team plan to host  12 Activities/Forums and close to 50 dual credit projects across the Region.
