·           Business-Accounting (Compressed)

This program is designed for students who want to develop skills and knowledge appropriate for an entry-level accountant in business, industry, or the not-for-profit sector. The program has been designed to accommodate students who want to continue their studies towards a professional accounting designation. This program is delivered in a combination of traditional and alternate delivery formats.

·           Office Administration

The Office Administration-General Program is designed to teach practical and transferable skills, attitudes and knowledge to succeed in a variety of office settings. Students learn business applications in math, accounting and communications. They also receive hands-on training using word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, database, desktop publishing and web page design software.

·           Mechanical Techniques-Multiskilling

The intent of the Multiskilling Program is to train a skilled workforce and enhance the career growth for individuals. The trend in industry today is towards multiskilling. The focus is on fabrication and industrial shop practices. The third semester will incorporate methods that have been taught to fabricate projects in the shop.

·           Welding Techniques

The Welding Program’s objectives are to build a solid foundation in the basics of welding processes and prepare students for future trends so they can readily transfer this technology to the shop floor. Students have the opportunity to test for a C.W.B. ticket that most employers use as a standard for employment.

·           Motive Power Techniques - Automotive

The Motive Power Techniques - Automotive Program is designed to give students a firm background in the fundamental areas of the automotive transportation service industry. Students are involved in maintaining and repairing various vehicle systems such as electrical/electronics, fuels, brakes, gear trains steering and suspension on motor vehicles and light trucks.

·           Motive Power Techniques - Heavy Equipment

The Motive Power Techniques - Heavy Equipment program prepares students for a variety of mechanical fields. Students are involved in maintaining, operating and repairing on and off-road heavy equipment such as front-end loaders, bulldozers, excavators, skidders, trucks and tractors. Those wishing to enter the Motor Vehicle, Truck/Coach Trade would also benefit.
