Richard Tatebe, SSW, MSW, RSW - Professor Richard is a graduate of the Social Service Worker program at Confederation College and received his Bachelor and Master's degrees from Lakehead University School of Social Work. In his 18 years as a Social Worker, Richard's experiences included substance abuse treatment, adult and children's mental health, residential care, school social work and educational seminars. rtatebe@confederationc.on.ca | |

Kim Gerrish, SSW, MSW, RSW - Professor Kim is a proud Alumna of Confederation College, graduating from the Social Service Worker Program in 1994. Kim then continued onto Lakehead University and graduated with an Honours Bachelor of Social Work, and then completed her Master of Social Work Degree. Kim brings a diverse background having worked in community mental health, hospital setting, and as a consultant to the youth justice sector. Kim joined Confederation College in 2009 as part-time faculty and also worked in the College Counselling Department. Kim specializes in the area of mental health, family violence, and trauma. kgerrish@confederationc.on.ca |

Shawn Untinen, BA, MSW, RSW - Professor Shawn has worked in the field of Social Work and human services for over 25 years prior to joining the College faculty. He has experience working with individuals and families in a wide range of settings as well as an extensive background in seminars and workshops.
