Strategic Plan

Department Home

Strategic planning takes place in order to define organizational goals and objectives which are consistent with its mission in a defined time frame while taking into account the organizations capacity for implementation. The primary goal of strategic planning is to ensure that these goals and objectives are communicated effectively in order to develop ownership over tasks and optimize resources by aligning key priorities. In order for strategic planning to be successful, a base from which progress can be measured must be established in order for decision makers to remain informed. The ongoing assessment of goals, outputs and impacts creates a flexible environment for evidence based decision making and resource optimization.

In order to remain transparent in our operations, we thought it would be of value to share some of the documents that helped shape three unique stages used by our Colleges administration to develop and carry out our strategic efforts. These stages are: planning, implementation and performance measurement.
