A growing responsibility. A renewed commitment.
The Board of Governors of Confederation College has undertaken a thoughtful and thorough process in the development of a direction for this institution for the next three years. Our planning has been guided by our collective knowledge of the experience and history of Confederation College as well as by our understanding of the needs and the opportunities ahead.
The mission of Confederation College, to ” enrich lives through learning” is both courageous and inclusive. It seeks to impact the success and well-being of our students, our employees and our communities. We are all aware of the responsibility this single sentiment carries; we are confident in our commitment to it because we know that our college community is equally dedicated to excellence in performance.
In addition to the shared sense of purpose which permeates every aspect of Confederation College, we have been blessed with the gift of strong, principled leadership and an incredible college community. All of these support the learning journey of our students and ensure that our graduates move through their lives and enrich their communities with the confidence, skills and attitudes instilled at Confederation College.
I am extremely pleased and honoured to lead the Board of Governors, and Confederation College, in the pursuit of “enriching lives through learning.”
